An Interview with Mathilde Heart Manech

Dear readers,

Welcome to my new Friday series: Follow Friday Spotlights!

In the land of Twitter, Follow Fridays are reserved for letting everybody know who you think is fabulous and why. However, there just never seems to be enough space in 140 characters.

For this reason, every Friday at 11am, I will present to you some of my favourite bloggers who have answered three very simple questions to let you know a little more about them.

And so, without further ado, allow me to present to you:
I've been following Lisa now for about 6-months. Her regular feature 'Five Positive Things to do This Week' is always a breath of fresh air and I love her fixation with tote bags- she clearly has an eye for great design.

Hi Lisa!

Where are you from and why do you love where you live?
I'm from Hebden Bridge, a town in West Yorkshire which is super close to Manchester too. I'm lucky in that I LOVE where I live. I'm surrounded by the best scenery (Bronte country and all that jazz) and the town has awesome independent shops, markets and cafes. It's a very creative town, full of musicians and artists and is steeped in literary history.

When did you start your blog and why?
I started my blog in 2010 as a means to fill the creative void. I was crafting here and there and wanted to share that on my blog, as well as practising writing after a long hiatus since University. I needed a creative outlet of some kind but never knew how much it would become a part of my everyday life. I now blog on a variety of topics that interest me: fashion, home, design, craft and food. I include regular features to keep me focused though.

Describe your blog in three words
Joyful, tote-loving and crafty.

You can follow Lisa at Mathilde Heart Manech
Thanks for reading!
