Observations from China #3 | #CapturedInWords

Travel photography from a trip to tea plantations in Fuijan Province

We scrolled through small villages, never pausing for longer than a moment's thought, succeeded by another, the roadside washing over us in blurred, racing folds. Even with an astute memory, all of the images rolled into the other, knowing it would make an impossible feat to untangle at a later date.

And so I perched my camera at the sill, clicking furiously as we flew along, hoping for a breath; praying for an afterlife.

Here she is. There she was.

All I can wonder now is, what was she thinking?
